For years, Somers Gardner served was an officer of the Point Lookout Civic Association and headed the Point Lookout Service Unit of the Salvation Army. He magnanimously donated the Senior Citizens Pavilion erected at our beach and aptly named the "Gardner Pavilion. (1968)   |
